When used correctly, GroPal Balance can
make a real difference in what you grow. Here are some application
guidelines for various crops.
Herbicide or other
chemical apps.
For any crop, if a
herbicide or other chemical application is
needed, wait about a week after the application
and then apply 16 ounces of GPB-A per acre to clean the
chemical load from the soil.
If ongoing chemical
applications are being made, apply 16 ounces of
GPB-A per acre once a month to help overcome the chemical
load and restore balance to the soil.
Do NOT apply GPB in the same tank mix as herbicides.
Pasture
GroPal Balance does
a great job on
pastures. Apply GroPal Balance A once a year, any
time of year.
Depending on the results
you would like to see, apply 16 to 32 ounces per
acre of GroPal Balance A.
Grass hay
Apply 1 to 2 quarts per
acre of GroPal Balance A, depending on the type
of results you would like to see. If nitrogen is
needed the first year, it is best to use
28% or
32%.
Starting the second year,
you may continue with GPB-A or B, or for even
better results apply of 2 quarts of
GPB-F per acre as a foliar application
at green-up and 7 to 10 days after each cutting.
Alfalfa
GroPal Balance is wonderful
for strengthening the root structure and
thickening up Alfalfa.
Apply 1 to 2 quarts of
GroPal Balance A per acre (depending on desired results)
either in the fall or early spring.
(optional foliar
application) After green-up and 7 to 10 days
after each cutting, apply 2 to 3 quarts per acre of GPB-F
as a foliar application.
Soybeans
GroPal Balance promotes a
huge root structure, which can result in plants
loaded with filled out pods.
Before or at planting, do one of
these:
Before or at planting, broadcast 2 quarts
per acre of GPB-A.
or save money by
applying 1 quart of GPB-A at planting, either in the
row, on the seed, banded over the row or
side-dressed.
For increased yields,
apply 2 quarts per acre of GPB-F foliar
application
just as the plants start to flower. If
moisture is good and the beans are looking good, a second foliar
application may be made at pod fill.
Corn
Before or at planting, do one of
these:
Before or at planting, broadcast 2 quarts
per acre of GPB-A.
or save money by
applying 1 quart of GPB-A at planting, either in the
row, on the seed, banded over the row or
side-dressed.
For increased yields, one to three foliar
applications may be made during the year.
Two to three weeks post-emergence, apply 2
quarts GPB-F as a foliar application.
A second foliar application of 2 quarts GPB-F may be
made when corn is knee high.
The third but most important foliar
application may be made just as the plant is
starting to put on ears. Apply 2 to 4 quarts per
acre of GPB-F as a foliar application.
Winter wheat
Depending on desired
results, apply 2 to 4 quarts of GPB-A at or
shortly after planting. It is best not to wait
till spring for this application.
If desired, a second
application may be made at flag leaf of 2 quarts GPB-F
as a foliar application.
Spring wheat, milo and millet
Depending on desired
results, apply 2 to 4 quarts of GPB-A at or
shortly after planting.
If desired, a second
application may be made at flag leaf of 2 quarts GPB-F
as a foliar application.
Cotton
In the fall when you are
finished with the field, apply a quart of GPB-A
to help eliminate harmful nematodes, salts,
fungus, mold, mildew, rot and plant toxins for a
great harvest next year.
Before or at planting, do one of
these:
Before or at planting, broadcast 2 quarts
per acre of GPB-A (1 qt./acre if a fall
application was made).
or save money by
applying 16 to 32 oz. per acre of GPB-A at planting, either in the
row, on the seed, banded over the row or
side-dressed.
For increased yields, one or two foliar
applications may be made during the year.
Two to four weeks post-emergence, apply 2
quarts GPB-F as a foliar application.
For a large boll set, the
second (and most important) foliar
application may be made just as the plant is
beginning to set bolls. Apply 2 to 4 quarts per
acre of GPB-F as a foliar application.
Do NOT mix GPB with any chemical except 28%
or 32% nitrogen.
Peanuts
In the fall when you are
finished with the field, apply a quart of GPB-A
to help eliminate harmful nematodes, salts,
fungus, mold, mildew, rot and plant toxins for a
great harvest next year.
Before or at planting, do one of
these:
Before or at planting, broadcast 2 quarts
per acre of GPB-A (1 qt./acre if a fall
application was made).
or save money by
applying 16 to 32 oz. per acre of GPB-A at planting, either in the
row, on the seed, banded over the row or
side-dressed.
For increased yields, a foliar
application of 2 quarts of GPB-F may be made
every 3 or 4 weeks during the growing season.
This is especially important if chemical
applications are being made.
Do NOT mix GPB with any chemical except 28%
or 32% nitrogen.
Fruit and nut trees
It is best to make a fall
application of 2 quarts per acre of GPB-A for
great results the next year. Apply GPB-A to the
root zone of the tree. If a fall application
hasn't been made, this application may also
be
made in the spring.
In the spring, once the
tree has some good leaf coverage, one or more
foliar applications of GPB-F may be made. Apply
1 to 3 quarts per acre per application. If
numerous foliar applications are desired, divide
not more than 2 gallons of GPB-F by the number
of desired applications.
Grape vines
Good news! GroPal Balance
is the best thing you can do to maintain neutral
soil pH.
Apply 2 quarts of GPB-A per
actual growing acre (1 ounce for every 700 sq.
ft.) This application may be made in the fall or
early spring.
In the spring, once the
vines have some good leaf coverage, one or more
foliar applications of GPB-F may be made. Apply
1 to 3 quarts per acre per application. If
numerous foliar applications are desired, divide
not more than 2 gallons of GPB-F by the number
of desired applications.
Sod farms
GroPal Balance A works
quite well to increase root structure and
thicken up grass.
Once the sod has been harvested, apply
2 quarts GPB-A to the soil.
A few days after every
chemical application (or once a month), apply
another 16 to 32 ounces of GPB-A to help neutralize
the chemical load.
